“The 6300 vertical on Rogers Peak North Face and the burley climb up to Swiss Peak for the 2000’ return descent will challenge the strongest. If done in tandem, this can be an epic day tour for the über fit.” (FCSDofNA)

By bringing myself over the edge and back, I discovered a passion to live my days fully, a conviction that will sustain me like sweet water on the periodically barren plain of our short lives

Sometimes the crux of a line is just figuring out what the line is. Such is the nature of "The Uber Tour," a line that is listed in the The Fifty Classic Ski Descents of North America but nobody seems to know what exactly it is.

Piecing together the description in the book as best as possible, The FIFTY sets out on a link up of the N Face of Mt. Rogers and the absolutely classic NE Face of Swiss Peaks.

Facing the challenges of timing the Winter Permit openings in Glacier National Park with the right conditions, along with a long, complex and big day to link up two steep lines in the Roger's Pass vicinity, the crew go for what could be one uber of a tour.
